2023 Banquet Update
December 18, 2022 by Josh Jackl
We have decided not to host an annual Outagamie Area Pheasants Forever banquet for 2023. The Chapter board did not come to this decision easily, but with careful consideration concluded that it is in our best interest, not only as a Chapter but as individual volunteers. We realize this decision might come as bad news to some, as the banquet night was filled with lots of excitement, great prizes and fun. However, due to the extensive planning and preparation and resulting great personal time investment made by a small group of volunteers, we have decided to utilize volunteer time a little differently. The good news is that our Chapter has absorbed Ron & Ron’s youth outdoor organization, which is a win-win for both groups. Not only does Pheasants Forever fully support Ron & Ron’s mission of getting youth outdoors and interested in hunting and shooting sports, it also means that PF will continue Ron & Ron’s annual tournament and fundraiser in March. Ron & Ron’s has been a longtime sponsor of our annual banquet, so the Outagamie Area Pheasants Forever Chapter is happy to continue Ron & Ron’s legacy through Pheasants Forever support and dedication. So even though we won’t see you for an annual banquet in January, be sure to get Ron & Ron’s Pheasant Championship on your calendar and we’ll see you at North Oak hunt club on March 11, 2023!
We want to assure all of our members, sponsors and supporters that our dedication to the PF mission is unwavering, and still plan to continue our support of habitat improvement, youth education and public awareness. We are already looking forward to another full spring prescribed burn season to improve habitat for local landowners. Keep your eyes peeled for other events throughout the year such as Pint Nights and a Fun Shoot. And feel free to renew your membership to show your support for Pheasants Forever (www.pheasantsforever.org). As always, feel free to contact us if you have any suggestions, ideas, or projects we can collaborate on.
From the whole Outagamie Area Pheasants Forever Board, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
